One of the newest Star Lilies

Come see N. Mel Bel. It is a new Hybrid star lily created by Ken Landon. It has been named in honor of a young lady ( Melody Murray ) who has worked with Ken at the collection for a few years. In this way he honors her with a waterlily that will outlive her. It looks similiar to N. Queen of Siam but is much nicer and like all star lilies, it stands high and proud above the waterline. It also was created and thrives in our Texas heat.
